Executive Director, Northwest Haiti Christian Mission Canada

A quick email [May 2, 2010]

Dear Ones,

I know that you pray for us. There are many victories today to share with you, and so little time before the generator goes off. So, I will quickly share with you some photos of today’s triumphs.

A new team of beloved Canadian missionaries arrived safely, despite many difficulties with airlines and schedules. We are so very happy to have them!

Follow up:

They no sooner got some time to rest, and they began getting new hairdos!

Church was full to overflowing this morning, with around one hundred standing at the windows outside to hear the service.

Every one of our patients felt well enough to go to church this morning! This is a major accomplishment!

Our newly baptized brother, with the leg amputation who was diagnosed with end stage cancer, got so strong and healthy, he went home in our mission four-wheeler.

It is almost impossible to remember only this past Wednesday, when Ked was screaming in pain over moving his leg to get out of bed. Now, he rarely needs Tylenol, and is up doing acrobatics on his walker! This can only be the healing of the Lord! We are all giving thanks, including Ked. He sings the loudest of all morning and evening in our times of worship.

Our God is so very good. Thank you for being part of all that He is doing among the suffering and the wounded. Praise God!

In His very great love, Tina
