Container to Load!!
Dear Ones,
Summer is flying by so quickly! I have noticed that in the mornings, it is dark later than it was just a couple of weeks ago. Here, in my office, we are gearing up for several fall mission trips to Haiti.
Follow up:
One lone Canadian is going to Haiti in August from Niagara Falls/Fort Erie area.
A group is going from the Hamilton/Waterdown area in September.
There is the October surgical trip with Canadians from across Canada.
A team from the Kitchener/Waterloo area is going at the end of October.
And another team is going from the Toronto area in November.
It is an exciting time. Each of these teams will be working in different capacities and in different locations, but each will be going with one purpose: to go in Jesus’ Name, to show the love of our Lord to those who are helpless.
Our newest Director, Geoff Robinson, just returned home yesterday with a team from Manitoba. We look forward to hearing him speak about their adventures and the mighty things our Lord did among them Sunday at Mississauga Christian Church, at 11:00.
We have a new container to fill this coming Wednesday, July 21st. There will be lots of medicine to send.
Some of you with pickup trucks that are coming, might be asked to come here to our house to pick up some things out of the trailer. God has been so good to us! We emptied that trailer out for the last container, and came home a couple of weeks ago, only to find that loving hands had filled it again with wonderful things: Baby Layettes, Personal Care Kits for the hospital, more Mats… precious gifts, the labours of love from the Family of God for the helpless and sick in Haiti.
If you can come out to help us, please come and plan to have lunch with us when the work is done. We will have hot dogs. If anyone knows of someone who can make a good potato salad for around 20 or more people, please let me know! J
God is so very good. The container is going to load up some medicine at Health Partners International in Mississauga at 7:30. It should be at our warehouse around 10:00.
Please pray for us. Those who come to the warehouse to help might also take some time and just walk around the boxes and pallets, and lay hands on them… praying that those who are touched by the things sent might KNOW the love of God, and by His Spirit, be healed and their lives be made whole.
In His great love, Tina
